Mayani Musumali is the Executive Director of the Centre for Peacebuilding and Transformative Leadership. She is a dedicated development and peacebuilding practitioner with over ten years of progressive experience in the non-profit sector, working to advance peace, social justice, and human development across communities.
She holds a Master of Science in Peace, Leadership and Conflict Resolution from the University of Zambia (UNZA), a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Citizen University, and a Certificate in Psychosocial Counselling from PEAK College.

Mayani has built strong expertise in program management, capacity building, advocacy, and conflict management. Through her work, she has supported initiatives that promote inclusive dialogue, strengthen institutional capacity, and encourage peaceful conflict transformation at both community and national levels. Her leadership is defined by integrity, inclusivity, and a strong commitment to empowering others. With a strategic and forward-looking approach, Mayani continues to contribute to shaping dialogue, strengthening institutions, and advancing sustainable peace.

As Director at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) from 2015 to 2021, Godwin demonstrated exceptional academic management. He led institutional reforms and oversaw the development of accredited short courses in management consultancy and entrepreneurship. Through strategic innovation, he consistently generated N$8–N$9 million in annual revenue for the university, exemplifying sustainable financial leadership within a higher education context. His academic contributions also include lecturing in financial accounting, strategic management of technology and innovation, economic policy, and corporate restructuring across multiple institutions.

Godwin’s expertise in higher education is further enriched by his robust project and financial management background. He has directed multi-million dollar health programs, including a USD 15 million HIV/AIDS initiative funded by USAID and The Global Fund, and spearheaded Namibia’s digital health transformation with a USD 1.5 million budget. His consultancy portfolio—spanning UNICEF, the National Democratic Institute, and Catholic Health Services—reflects a unique ability to apply academic rigor to real-world operational challenges.

His highest qualification an MBA in Advanced Corporate Strategy & Financial Management from the Maastricht School of Management (Netherlands), a Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in Project Management, and a Secondary Teachers’ Diploma from the University of Zambia.
